Fall/Christmas 2025 Anthems
Welcome this very special part of the Music Ministry of Pineville UMC! You are going to have lots of fun with wonderful people singing beautiful songs of the season! We pray that you will enjoy your time with us so much you will decide to stay and become a member of our “regular” year-round choir!
Hopefully by now you know that the Christmas Choir is joining forces with our House Band once again for a magical night of Christmas cheer at our Christmas @ the Crossroads Christmas celebration on Sunday, December 14. We will start with a covered dish dinner at 6pm and a program (that's us!) that will start at 7pm. It is going to be lots of fun for the whole family!
Even if you can't commit to singing with us every Sunday year 'round, we would love it if you could sing with us through the entire Christmas season, even on some Sundays and maybe even Christmas Eve! Any time you can sing with us will be great!

Christmas Choir Rehearsal Schedule

"Christmas in September" Choral Weekend, our "official" Christmas kick-off, will be held on Friday, September 26 from 7-9pm and on Saturday, September 27 from 10am-noon. This is where we will come together to practice all of our Christmas music and really work hard on learning our separate vocal parts. The food (yes, FOOD!) and fellowship are a special added bonus!
The following is our full Christmas Choir rehearsal schedule:
Wed., Sept. 3 through Wed. Sept. 24: 6:00—6:30pm
Fri., Sept. 26 (Choral Weekend) 7:00—9:00pm
Sat. Sept. 27 (Choral Weekend) 10:00am—noon
Wed. , Oct. 1 through Wed., Oct. 29: 6:00—6:45pm
Wed, Nov. 5—Wed., Dec. 10: 6:00—7:00pm
Wed. Nov. 25 NO rehearsal (Thanksgiving Eve)
Sat., Dec. 6 & Sat. Dec. 13: 10am—noon dress rehearsals

Note: from September-December, we will practice our weekly Sunday anthems immediately following the Christmas portion of rehearsal, and you are WELCOME to stay!
